Statement: I tend to work on a particular subject in a series of paintings, often using details of figures from found photos, which I enlarge and weave together into different compositions. I particularly like to focus on combinations of figures which have a rhythm, movement and interaction between them. The landscape paintings I do are mostly from sites in the area where I live near Gravesend on the North Kent marshes.
