Clubb's Yard Studios is a new enterprise from Artist Surfaces launching in January 2024.

 

Clubb's Yard Studios offer a mentored and supported 3 month studio residency for an artist to focus, explore and develop a new body of work.

 

The residency is not just about creative production, it also presents an opportunity for challenging dialogue with the vital exchange and presentation of new ideas.

 

Clubb’s Yard Studios is a professional environment where artists are provided the platform to challenge, change, reflect, and receive supportive critical feedback from their studio peers.

 

The residency is designed to enable the artist to explore, discover and fully realise their creative potential.

Artist in Residence Program

 

• One professional artist residency studio - 161sqft.

• 3 months residency period.

• Artist Surfaces materials grant.

• Mentorship and support.

• No definition on output.

• *Minimum attendance 3 days a week.

• Two artist talks to studio members, at month one and month three.

• Educational tutoring experience - Artist Tutorials to Clubb’s Yard Studio members.

• Visiting Artists Talks Program - Talks from artists, curators, creatives, organisations etc.

• 15% off Artist Surfaces products. 

• One Artwork to be donated to Clubb’s Yard Studios to be agreed with artist in residence. This will become part of the Clubb's Yard Studios Grants Program.
