I am a textiles and multidisciplinary artist from Chatham, Kent. After a Foundation Year at UCA Canterbury specialising in fashion and graphic design, I went on to achieve a First Class Ba (Hons) in Graphic Design Visual Communication.
I am inspired by pop culture and bright colours with a passion for typography and how text interacts with art, and has started exploring this with textiles.
In my personal practice I have explored 3D detail oriented projects, like a scale doll house and an interest in upcycling with found materials. My portfolio contains lots of examples of favouring hand finishing pieces over digital production, and I like the tactile quality of handcrafted work.
My work reflects in my outgoing explorative personality, and reflects in my desire for fun and excitement in the traditional world of fine art.
