Dolls House Maker, Conservator and Renovator

I set up Forget-Me-Not Vintage & Dolls House Ltd seven years ago, when I opened a shop in Gravesend High Street. It was originally a vintage shop which over the years changed into a dolls house shop primarily,  after taking in some vintage dolls houses and soon realising the popularity of them and discovering a big gap in the market. I began selling dolls houses and accessories which then turned into doing dolls house restorations which has grown massively.

It is the best job in the world being able to work on dolls houses which have been passed down from the generations, all the houses holding many happy childhood memories for their owners.

My business model has changed greatly over the last seven years and as a result I realised that it was not a physical shop that I needed anymore due to the changes in people’s shopping habits. Online sales and dolls house restorations began to take over. So, I was overjoyed to find Clubbs Yard Studios to have a purpose-built space to carry out our dolls house repairs, restorations and online sales.

Today the business comprises of dolls house commission work, repairs and restorations. We also sell online from our eBay shop and website as well as attending specialist dolls house fairs up and down the country.

I am very grateful to have supportive family & friends behind me, especially my daughter Georgia, Simon Phillpott, Sci-Phi Studios; website and advertising and Stan Jennings; expert carpenter and model maker. Together we make a pretty good team!

You can find pictures or our restorations and eBay shop on our website. As well as the dates and locations of the upcoming dolls-house fairs we will be attending throughout the year. You can also keep up to date with us on Instagram & FB- we have a lot of followers!!
